Ryan called me outside the other day to tell me she was making a rainbow. I was a little confused. I did not know if she had been in the paint or sidewalk chalk, or what she was doing. She grabbed the hose and had the spray nozzle set on mist. She squeezed the handle and said "Look! A rainbow!" It took me a minute, but when I got down on her level and looked where she was pointing I could see her rainbow. We spent the next 15 minutes making rainbows. I am so grateful for my sweet three year old who reminds me to slow down and look a little harder for the rainbows.Monday, December 21, 2009
