Yesterday was our 14th Wedding Anniversary. It has been 14 years since I married the most wonderful woman in the world. I have no idea what I would do without her in my life. I don't think that she quite understands how she makes me whole and makes me a better person. I think the song A Woman Like You by Lee Brice pretty much sums up the way I feel.
Last night out of the blue
Driftin' off to the evenin' news
She said "Honey, what would you do
"If you'd have never met me"
I just laughed, said "I don't know,
"But I could take a couple guesses though"
And then tried to dig real deep,

"I'd do a lot more offshore fishin'
"Probably eat more drive-thru chicken
"Take a few strokes off my golf game

"I probably never would have heard of yoga
"Be a better football fan

"Alone and out there on the loose

Well, I could tell that got her attention
So I said, "Oh yeah, I forgot to mention

"For a hundred years the other way"
She just smiled and rolled her eyes
'Cause she's heard all of my lines
I said, "C'mon on girl, seriously
"If I hadn't been so lucky
"I'd be shootin' pool in my bachelor pad

"Restockin' up cold Bud Ligh
"For poker every Tuesday night, yeah

She knows what a mess I'd be if I didn't have her here
But to be sure, I whispered in her ear

I love this woman so much. And I know that if she was not in my life, I'd be searching for a woman like her. I love you Jaimee Kartchner. So I guess I do know what is be doing if she wasn't in my life.
