What we've been up to

I got a new sewing machine! I wanted the girls to have their own church bags so I did not have to worry about their junk on Sundays. Thus we have the ultra chic monogrammed Sunday bags. My new machine has cool stitches, and Jac loved using my old Machine, she made hers nearly all by herself!

Ryan got a new Haircut. She wanted it short like a grandma, but I thought that might be a little much. we opted for a little shorter than shoulder length.

How Mercy Satifies the Need for Justice

The other day we had the missionaries over for dinner (actually we were at the Denisons, but it sounds better to say they were at our house). After dinner we sat down with the missionaries so they could give us a spirtitual message before they left. They then began to teach us about the role of Jesus and the mercy he had for us to save us from sin. The missionaries then asked the girls if they like Justice. Jannica immediatly popped up and said that she loved Justice. We all stared at her a little suprised that she was so excited about Justice and Mercy. It took Jaimee a second but then she said to Jac, "They don't mean the store." Followed by a very long ohhhhhhh from Jannica. The missionaries were completly confused and had no idea what she was talking about. But the rest of us cracked up laughing because she was talking about the store Justice, Just for Girls.

A boy and his Dad

I never thought Kelly cared if we had a boy or a girl, everyday I am proven wrong. Kelly loves, cherishes and adores our girls, but there is something in this relationship with his boy that I just can't explain. Since this cute boy of mine has entered this world he has been in love with his dad and vice versa. I took this picture the other day and I just love it. They are my two favorite fellas in the world!

I pledge

Ryan can say the pledge of allegiance and kept reciting it for me. (a little different every time).

We were getting it on video. After she had worked so hard to give a good pledge, at the end of "Under God for liberty and this is for all" came pppppffffffftttt. A nice little toot.

Kelly and I busted up laughing and Ryan had no idea why. This girl can make me laugh all the time. What a blessing.

Joke

I told Ryan and Jac a joke the other day

Me: I saw a dead skunk in the road and I one-d it

Girls: I two-d it (Ryan incidentally thought we were saying I tooted it, which made her laugh and laugh.)

Me: I three-d it

Girls: I four-d it

Me: I five-d it

Girls: I six-d it

Me: I seven'd it

Girls: I ate it

Me: EWWWW! you ATE it? That is so gross.

We spent the rest of the evening getting people to say they ate various gross things.

On the way home with just Kelly, Ryan told him

"Dad, I saw a gross booger in the road and I farted it!" this went along with her confusion on the two-d it thing. Kelly did not know about the joke and the thing wasn't cleared up until I got home later and helped Ryan do the joke for Kelly.

Now I giggle every time I think of it.

Santa

Well it looks like this was the perfect Santa year for the kids. Ryan isn't scared of Santa anymore and Cameron isn't old enough to know better.
